Agriculture is the lifeblood of Song LGA. Over 70% of our people are farmers. We will transform farming from subsistence to commerce.

Distribution of improved seedlings, fertilizers, and pesticides to registered farmers

Lobby for irrigation infrastructure along River Benue tributaries in Song

Establish a Song Farmers Cooperative with state backing

Connect farmers to agro-processing markets in Yola and Jimeta

Advocate for crop insurance schemes to protect farmers from losses

Support women farmers with dedicated agric empowerment programs

Education & Skills Development

Every child in Song deserves a quality education. We will fight for the resources and infrastructure needed to make that a reality.

Advocate for rehabilitation of primary and secondary schools across all 11 wards

Lobby for scholarships and bursaries for Song students in tertiary institutions

Establish vocational training centres in Song for youth

Push for deployment of qualified teachers to rural schools

Support adult literacy programmes across all wards

Facilitate digital and computer literacy for secondary school students

Youth Empowerment & Employment

Song's greatest resource is its young people. We will create an environment where youth can thrive, build businesses, and lead communities.

Advocate for state-funded youth enterprise and startup grants for Song youths

Lobby for NYSC/Federal skills programmes to be deployed in Song LGA

Support establishment of a Youth Resource Centre in Song Town

Facilitate internship partnerships between Song youth and Adamawa businesses

Ensure youth representation in local governance and ward development committees

Partner with NGOs for sports, arts, and creative economy development

Healthcare & Wellbeing

Access to basic healthcare should not be a luxury. We will work to bring quality, affordable health services to every community in Song.

Lobby for upgrading of PHCs (Primary Health Centres) across all 10 Song wards

Advocate for regular supply of essential medicines to Song health facilities

Support maternal and child health initiatives — reduce infant mortality

Push for deployment of additional doctors and nurses to Song hospitals

Facilitate free periodic health outreaches in rural wards

Advocate for inclusion of Song in the Adamawa State Health Insurance Scheme

Women & Family Empowerment

The women of Song are the foundation of our families and communities. Their empowerment is non-negotiable — it is central to our agenda.

Advocate for microfinance and cooperative loans for women traders in Song markets

Support vocational training specifically designed for women in Song LGA

Push for women-specific healthcare (antenatal, family planning, safe delivery)

Promote women's participation in grassroots governance and campaigns

Facilitate access to federal and state women empowerment grants

Champion legislation protecting women and children from domestic violence

Security, Peace & Community Harmony

No development is possible without security. We commit to working with security agencies and community leaders to keep Song LGA safe and peaceful.

Establish a formal Community Watch/Vigilante liaison network in Song LGA

Facilitate inter-ethnic and inter-religious dialogue forums in Song

Advocate for more police/security posts in rural wards

Support rehabilitation and reintegration programmes for ex-combatants

Work with traditional rulers on conflict prevention and early warning systems
